It took a couple days for the pain to subdue. I also want to warn you that you may be at risk to gain weight on prednisone. Though everyone is different. I would talk to your doctor regarding fitness activity. If you are unable to exercise please watch what you eat. You are on a lower dose, so it may not be a issue.
