I’ve been having really bad back pain. I’ve tried tylenol, and advil. I have also been going to the chiropractor and its just constant pain. Any suggestions? Anything is useful since I have to be at school all the time and its really killing me.
I do not have any insurance but my back was killing me!!! I have tried to order some tramadol online, but it looks there is no legal online pharmacy which sells it, later on I purchased aleve with the canadian online pharmacy and it worked! I was taking 250mg tablets.

The first answer was wrong because Tramadol is a prescription drug. Alleve is a good choice.

In my own experience, tylenol can cause liver problems if its used alot. But not until your older. If you need to use a pain killer every day, even every 12 hours, then i reccomend prescription ibuprofen tablets. I tore a muscle in my lower back once, so i used pain killers 24/7. I used 400mg ibuprofen pills. They dont get you jacked up, they just dull the pain. But one thing you have to know is they constipate you a tiny bit, and they only dullen the pain. If the ibuprofen gets rid of some of the pain, then remember the limits you had when you didnt take ibuprofen. Just because some of the pain is gone doesnt mean you can push your back any farther. It will re-injure it and make it even worse. Just use it to dull it, and dont push your back any farther than you would with out pain killers. It makes it worse

To relieve pain and discomfort, use over-the–counter medications such as ibuprofen or paracetamol or apply a heating pad to the affected area. In more severe cases, your physician will prescribe NSAIDs, muscle relaxants or trigger point and ligament injection.
Natural treatments such as herbal and homeopathic remedies are a safer, gentler alternative to relieve back pain and discomfort and have been used for thousands of years to treat the pain and discomfort of backache. Treatments such as herbal and homeopathic remedies are safe and gentle to use without the unwanted side effects of prescription medicine. These herbs do not only provide symptomatic relief but are also effective for your overall health and wellbeing.
Herbs such as Harpagophytum procumbens (Devil’s Claw) boasts powerful properties that help to promote healthy joints and acts as a digestive tonic while Glucosamine sulphate repairs joints and cartilages. Boswellia serata is another excellent herb that promotes joint and muscle comfort and benefits digestion.

You could try some of the topical treatments like Icy Hot or other salves and ointments. You just have to go to the drugstore and look around at what is available. Some of these can be very useful.
Another thing you could try is stretching. If you spend a lot of time sitting in school your ligaments and muscles can get short and tight and cause pain. You also need to be very careful about your posture when sitting in class.
You can read more about exercises for your posture and stretches at:
