I’ve been sick for the last few days so I’ve stayed in bed. I’ve found that lying in bed actually makes my back feel worse, and last night I felt like a shock went up to this area on my back. Every couple hours I kept waking up with back pain.
The area that hurts is slightly below the middle of my back, to the right. My bed has a lot of indentations in it, and no matter what position I tried my back still hurt.
While I was lying there in pain I turned on the tv and saw a commercial for the sleep number bed, which they claim has good back support and will help people with back pain. I also remember seeing commercials for temperpedic that claim the same thing.
The rest of my family uses Sterns and Fosters and like those beds. Are there any studies on which beds are good for people with back pain?
