I was in a car accident, both cars were totalled. I suffered severe Whiplash
had head pain and neck stiffness for over 1 week. Currently still get headaches and neck aches. I am wondering if anyone has had this and what amount is usual for this type of injury
There no way to put an exact number on you should ask a lawyer for an opinion. If you submit your case to http://www.selectcounsel.com your case will be reviewed and one of the best lawyers in your area will be put in contact with you to take your case for free.
I’ve had this weird neck/shoulder pain since last monday. I have no idea what it’s from, but it hurts when I pick up certain things, or bend down in a certain way. It’s like someone is stabbing a million and two needles in my neck/shoulder.
Could be a pinched nerve. You might want to visit a chiropractor and they can give you an x-ray.
Neck pain????

Does anyone have a good ”treatment” for neck pain?
I was on a bungy pull run on sat and I think when I was bounced back that I landed on my neck wrong.. is it possible to pull the muscle there??
I can turn my head to the right ( right side of neck is the sore bit though) but I can only get it half way to the left and its complete agony.. the right side of my neck feels all kinda hard and tender…
when I am sitting not moving it is bearable but still uncomfy and tight feeling … and still very painful.
Any ideas?? I have taken painkillers – not even taken the edge off – and I cant take ipbropfen.
I am going to visit docs after work..
if this helps I didnt have any pain at first it was not untill late at night ( around 4/5 hours later ) I noticed it…
This sounds similar to Whiplash which is a ligament injury. If it’s in spasm your Doctor can prescribe meds to help you relax and hopefully unclench the muscles. The other treatment is Physio if the pain/stiffness doesn’t subside. You need to see your Doctor for an accurate diagnosis.
natural neck pain relief!?

have a curvature of the spine and the last few days ny neck has been hurting.
I think its because of late nite studying/late nite computer work.
Anyone no of any natural ways to help my neck?
Thanks!
Moist heat. Wet a small towel in hot water, wring it out and place it around your neck for 20 minutes replace as towel cools. Also apple vinegar is supposed to help sore muscles. Rub it in where it hurts.
It seems like I’m always getting tension headaches accompanied by neck pain and stiffness. What are some ways that you’ve found to alleviate the headaches and even prevent them?
All that over the counter medication you see "Tylenol Tension Headache" is just a higher dose of acetaminophen. If I were you I would take one ibuprofen and one anacin’s (Aspirin and caffeine). Ibuprofen and aspirin are anti-inflammatories which reduce swelling that cause most headaches. What is happening is your blood vessels usually get swollen by either trauma or a pressure change/temperature change. An anti-inflammatory reduces the swelling. If the ibuprofen doesn’t work, you can take four 200mg ibuprofens at one time three times a day(with food or you’re going to tear up your stomach and give yourself an ulcer). If you take the four ibuprofens then don’t take any other anti-inflammatory (no aspirin, no aleve…tylenol is okay). The max dose on ibuprofen is 800mg three times a day (every 8 hours). There is no max dose of aspirin but I wouldn’t take more than 500mg of aspirin more than 3 times a day.
I suffer from frequent pain of the two muscle tendons that hold your head up on the back of your head. I figured this was normal, until recently the top of my spine has begun to ache. Am I overreacting?
No! It’s never "nothing" when something hurts. Your brain is trying to tell you something. The longer you leave this unchecked, this worse it could get. Schedule an appointment today, good luck. Temporarily, a reusable ice pack on the spots that hurt help numb the pain.
It depends on the degree of degeneration. There is no reversal of the arthritis. If mild to moderate Chiropractic adjustments can do wonders for pain control without medication. Physical therapy is futile for pain control. If your MD prescribes PT try it and then try chiropractic.
