I have been suffering from neck pain for a year now, and after having visited several neurologists, I am dissatisfied with the care (or lack thereof) I received, as I still contend with neck pain every day. I have reason to believe my neck pain does not generate from a disk disorder. In addition to my neck pain, I also experience excessive cracking in my neck when I turn it from side to side. Based on this medical information, from whom should I seek medical care in treating my neck pain?
If you have already been to a couple of them I would just write them all off. I went through the same thing with those dr.’s. It was it won’t get better or here’s a pill. Then I found how to release the muscles in my neck and I don’t have any trouble anymore. That is usually all that is wrong with us for the majority of our pains, pinched muscles. There can’t be good money in giving us the right answers so we get all the wrong ones. Here is how I was finally able to be the neck pain. If you have any questions let me know:
For your neck:
place your hand alongside your head and push your thumb in under your ear and place it on the muscle there. Take your fingers and place them on the back of your neck on the muscles there. Press them together and hold a good amount of pressure on them. Then relax, take a deep breath an happening, the muscle going limp under the pressure. Continue to hold until the entire muscle has gone limp.

what is recommended for neck pain? my doctor is not good. i think my muscle is very weak.
Muscular weakness typically has very little to do with neck or back pain (contrary to popular belief) our muscles are strong typically just from the fact of walking and standing…rather, mechanical forces such as prolonged or improper positioning of the neck is usually the cause of most types of neck pain.
It’s good you saw your physician to rule out any medical causes of neck pain, but now it might be time for a physical therapist who is certified in mechanical diagnosis and therapy. Ask for a referral if you need one and go to: http://www.mckenziemdt.org
I had a neck injury from martial arts, have gotten headaches ever since. Saw a neurologist, they didn’t find anythinig, but don’t believe I got an MRI.
Now I have shoulder blade pain and headaches whenever I lean back on a heart surface.
Have you had a good Chiropractor ex ray you, and treat you? It might be helpful for you.
Major back/neck pain and vertigo. Have seen chiropractor, naturopath. What type of conventional doctor do I see for this? Orthopedic? ENT? Thanks!
Orthopedic surgeon or "orthopod."
I’ve found it to be best to use both the western and the alternative approaches for chronic muskuloskeletal pain.
