i have a 16 month old daughter who is in the 99% for her weight and 95% for her height, she is a big girl, but she is still a baby, so i still need to carry her at times, and she is SO heavy, it bothers my shoulder and neck, and i have had a headache everyday for like 3 weeks straight, it starts in my neck and works its way up, and my neck bothers me allot like needing to be popped etc, do you think carrying my daughter could be causing the headaches?
It’s possible. Since you can’t really get around carrying her though, I would suggest keeping some Motrin/Advil etc on you if you start to feel pain! Good luck!

carrying a light baby can do this. go to the chiropractor, swim, do yoga, get a massage, take advil or alleve, soak in a tub, & find a better way to carry the child.

Definitely. Both my kids were big when they were born and I was pretty small. I kept getting headaches so I went to Drs. and Chiropractors who both told me it was the weight of carrying my kids that was causing my headaches. Take hot showers and use muscle cream like Aspercream or Sportscream, they will help better if you put them on before bed but they also help in the daytime. Take Advil or Tylenol for the pain in the day. I used Advil. You could use Motrin also. Your muscles in your neck and back are being pulled from their weight so it stands to reason you would have a little inflammation from that. The pain meds will help the headaches also.
